Dr. Brooksie Harrington is featured in a video promoting the Cape Fear Regional Theatre’s The Parchman Hour: Songs and Stories of the ’61 Freedom Riders. Dr. Harrington is the play’s musical director. The play will be running locally through March 24 and tells the story of a pivotal moment in America’s Civil Rights Movement and is based on the experiences of historical figures ranging from Stokely Carmichael and Martin Luther King, Jr. to Robert F. Kennedy.
